How to Bill a Package With Patient Juan
Packages are groups of billable items sold under a single price.
Step 1: Click Add Item
On your New Billing window, click the “Add Item” button. Then, select “Package from the dropdown.
Step 2: Select a Billable Package
On the Add Item window, click the “Package” dropdown and select the Package you want to add.
The “Price” of the Package will be prefilled by the amount you set for the item in your Package Settings.
Note: You can create a new Package by clicking on the “+Add New” button and following these steps.
Step 3: Adjust Price or Quantity
Adjust the Price and Quantity of your Package with the provided fields.
Step 4 (optional): Add a Discount
Add a discount for your Package.
Note: Discounts can only be created through the Discount Settings. This is to provide an extra layer of security to your billings.
Step 5 (optional): Add an HMO Provider
Add an HMO Coverage for your Package by clicking the “Add HMO Coverage” button.
Note: To add your covered HMOs to your profile, go to your HMO Settings.
Step 6 (optional): Select your Patient’s HMO Provider
Select an HMO from the HMO list window. This will update the price of your Package details based on the coverage and copay that you set on your Package Settings.
Note: The Discount you set for the Package will be computed based on the copay of the HMO provider that you selected.
Step 7: Save Your Billable Package
Finally, click the “Add Package” button at the bottom of the Add Package window.
